term
data set
definition

logical set of data elements selected by semantic relation

NOTE Data set is used only for better understanding and is fully independent from implementation solutions.

term
service (EFC)
definition

EFC road transport related facility provided by a service provider, normally a type of infrastructure, the use of which is offered to the user, for which the user may be requested to pay

standard (extract)
term
system
definition

something of interest as a whole or as comprised of parts

NOTE A system can be referred to as an entity. A component of a system can itself be a system, in which case it can be called a subsystem.

standard (extract)
term
rationale; verification
definition

verification process determining that a product of each phase of the system life cycle development process fulfils all the requirements specified in the previous phase

standard (extract)
term
profile
definition

set of one or more base standards and/or ISP, and where applicable, the identification of chosen classes, conforming subsets, options and parameters of those base standards, or ISPs necessary to accomplish a particular function

application information formed by one or by a sequence of data elements, used for implementation of a transaction

term
data group
definition

collection of closely related EFC data attributes which together describe a distinct part of an EFC transaction
